Fylde’s Conservative Council put in a massive £5.2m into housing last year, including properties in Kirkham and Wesham.  As well as helping first time buyers get their foot on the ladder, we also helped many people to improve their homes with things like better insulation.   I think the Housing Team do a great job and, I’m pleased to say, our first priority is helping local people get the kind of housing they need.

Of course, while the Council can do it’s bit, so can the Government.  And that means stopping the speculation about whether Stamp Duty is going to be suspended in September.  Some local estate agents I’ve met say that people are holding off making an offer for a home until after September.  Nice one Darling!
