This morning I spent two hours with Wesham’s new street sweeper / cleaning operative.  I must say I am very impressed with the way he works and the way he keeps each and every street in Wesham clean.  I’ve not seen such dedication and I’ve not seen cleaner streets.  He’s a real credit to Fylde Borough Council who are taking him on full time.  When I suggested that Fylde Council take back the street cleaning I knew it would be better, but not this much better.  I’ll be sending an e-mail to the Councils Chief Executive to let him know what an asset he is to the council.

A real community hero.
A real community hero.
The other good point is the amount of people on the streets who came up to Steven and said well done and what a good job he’s doing for us all.
