Earlier today I met with Chris Grayling, the Shadow Home Secretary to discussion the Conservatives plans to tackle anti social behaviour if we form the next government.  The plans include letting chief constables decide if they want more PSCOs or instead use the money to employ full police officers.

I also raised the issue that Labour have rejected the Conservatives plans to employ 3 extra Trading Standards Officers to tackle under age alcohol sales – a key cause of Kirkham’s anti social issues.  However despite the problems alcohol sales cause, Kirkham’s Independent Councillor proudly voted with Labour (again) to defeat this sensible measure.
