Last Friday, Eric Pickles MP, the Chairman of the Conservative Party came to Fylde to highlight the Party’s campaign on pensions and savings.  Leaflets were handed out to passers by in St Annes and people were stopped and asked to sign a petition.  Many of the agreeing to.

The campaign is calling for the scrapping of income tax on savings and on raising the allowance which pensioners pay income tax on to £11,490 up from £2,000.  This will help savers and pensioners.
