In a recession busting move and in order to encourage more people to use the pool prices have been frozen this year.  I was asked at full council tonight to move that they go up, but I rejected that and instead proposed to keep them the same as last year.  It was indeed interesting to note that one or two other local councillors failed to vote for the freeze.

At a time when the recession is hitting Fylde and the country the hardest, it’s great to see the Conservatives on Fylde council supporting measures, albeit small ones, to keep the cost of living down.
