It’s great to see at long last that Garstang Road North is being completely resurfaced.  I’ve been asking for long enough and it’s now being done.  I understand it’ll cause some disruption, but I am sure it will be worth the hassle in the long run.

There are still more roads in Kirkham, Wesham, Newton, Clifton and Treales that need work doing on them and I will endeavour have them done.  Labour controlled Lancashire County Council spends about £1.4 billion pounds a year, the least it can do is sort out the roads.  It is interesting to note that the £10m the county lost in Icelandic Banks could have paid for many of our roads to be sorted out.  But then that’s Labour for you!
