Replies are coming in from the biggest ever survey of Newton, Clifton and Treales.  Many many issues are being highlighted by local people.  Some early action has been on Blue Moor Lane.  A local resident rang to say the road is covered in mud and stones and no one had done anything about, despite the ‘local’ councillor being told some time ago.  I am please to say that after a quick email the road was swept the next day.

One reply in particular was interesting.  All the questions were answered with a little note added to the bottom of the page.  It simply read, ‘although I always vote Labour, I really do appreciate your time and effort in asking for my views.’

There will be more updates as the replies come in.
