It’s great to see the road on Garstang Road South and Segar Street, Wesham being properly resurfaced today. This was pushed through by local Conservative councillors as a priority at a Lancashire Local committee late last year. I had lobbied for that to have been done for some time and when the opportunity came up I made sure my friends on the committee knew it needed doing.
But it really is a tale of two extremes. Have you noticed, like the photo below, just how bad some on the pot holes in our local roads are. Drive up Preston Street and down Carr Lane to find out. These are not just pot holes – but whole sections of the road have just disappeared. I really do think it’s time for a change at County Hall. They have £1.3 billion of your money and you need a ramp to get in and out of some of the pot holes in your roads. Only the Conservatives can offer that change.
