Mark Menzies, the recently adopted MP candidate for Fydle, came to Kirkham and Wesham yesterday.  Mark was at a coffee morning supporting local Conservatives in raising money to fight local elections and then in the afternoon Mark pounded the streets of Wesham with me delivering letters to local residents.

At the coffee morning, Mark gave a short speech where he thanked those present for their support and pledged to the take the fight to Labour, locally and in Parliament.  Mark promised to work hard and earn every vote by showing the the Conservatives have the answers to the problems faced by local people.  The problems created by this Labour Government, like the credit crunch and the spiralling cost of living.

Over 30 people attended the coffee morning and over £250 was raised to help keep those leaflets flowing.  If you want to get involved in the Conservative Party locally, just e-mail at simon@simonrenwick.com.
