Yesterday afternoon I had a meeting with Margaret Wright, the headmistress of St. Joseph’s School in Wesham.  I went to ask if we could run a Christmas Card competition where the pupils drew a traditional Christmas theme that I could then use for my Christmas Card that will be going out to resident in the local area.

We had a discussion on the design and we both agree that the true meaning of Christmas is to celebrate the birth of Jesus – the cards are to have a truly Christian theme.

We continued to talk about the school and the forthcoming OFSTED inspection.  I enjoyed our half hour chat and left with a feeling of being at a first class school.  I’ll be going in again in a couple of weeks to judge the design and hand out the prize.
