Rural Fylde Conservatives are please with the latest opinion poll lead for the Conservative Party national.  The 16% lead is the biggest for the Conservatives in 20 years and Labour on 27% has not been seen since Michael Foots days.  This would give the Conservatives a 130 seat majority in the commons if repeated in a general election.

Commenting, Councillor Simon Renwick said,

“This is great news, on the back of Labours bad news budget and David Cameron’s performance at the Spring Conference the people of Britain seem to have finally turned their back on dithering Gordon with re announcements, in decisions and total incompetence.”
