Following a successful bid to the Lottery fund, Fylde is to received £200,000 in a grant to build on the facilities for young people in the Borough.

 A multi play area is being installed at Barnfield in Kirkham, an inclusive play area at Lowther and three years of play out reach workers across the borough to add value to the play experience.

 Commenting, Councillor Simon Renwick say,

“I am delighted that the Lottery and Play England have approved our bid.  I think the schemes I approved will improve facilities across the borough and enhance the use of those facilities.

This follows up the investment of £125,000 in Wesham and the £109,000 we’ve invested since the last budget in March.  The Conservatives are committed to improving and investing in the future and are proud and please with what we are doing.”
