The latest opinion polls put the Conservatives on 43% and Labour on 38%.  This is the most the Conservatives have had in an opinion poll since 1992.  Repeated in an election, the election the PM bottled, would see the Conservatives as the biggest party.  Another poll put the Lib Dems on 11% which would seem them effectively wiped out in all but there best seats. 

 I can only imagine that this swing is as a result of the sense David Cameron is making to people, when he promises to only allow millionaires to pay inheritance tax and when first time buyers will be excuses stamp duty.  Or it could be the crooked magpie chancellor, nicking policies (or rather just pretending) or it could be the Brown’s been found out as the tax and spend, calculating and cynical man that he is.
